Page 403 Leo M. Doll and Lorraine Doll (Dolls) brought this action in the Thirteenth Judicial District Court, Yellowstone Page 405 County against Major Muffler Centers, Inc. (Major Muffler) seller of muffler pipe-bending equipment, and Colonial Pacific Leasing Co. (Colonial Pacific) which leased the equipment to the Dolls. The jury returned a verdict against Major Muffler for $30,000 actual damages, and $90,000 in punitive damages; and against Colonial Pacific for $10,000 actual damages and $40,000 punitive damages. We affirm as to Major Muffler, and reverse and modify in part as to Colonial Pacific.
